Edinburg Roadrunners Announce Job Fair

February 24, 2010 - United League Baseball (ULB) Edinburg Roadrunners

Edinburg, TEXAS--- The Edinburg Roadrunners will hold their annual Job Fair on Saturday, March 13th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p. m. at the Edinburg Baseball Stadium.

The organization will hire retail staff, food service, promotions, ticket operations, wait staff and guest services in preparation for the upcoming season. Front office staff members will be on site taking applications.

"We are looking for motivated and outgoing individuals who want to work and at the same time have fun," said Stadium Concession Manager Estella De La Cruz. " This is a great opportunity to contribute to your community and I welcome everyone to apply."

The Edinburg Roadrunners are looking to employ anywhere from 50 to 100 employees to work at the home games. Qualified candidates will be asked to work the entirety of the season, which ends late August.

"These short-term jobs offer good pay, flexible hours and are excellent for people who want to work part-time, while at the same time being part of the team atmosphere, installed here at the ballpark." said De La Cruz.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old to apply. Employees are paid hourly or by the game, depending on the position. Edinburg Roadrunners are an equal opportunity employer.
