
Connecticut Sun Foundation Begins Pledge Drive

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (February 19, 2010) - The Connecticut Sun Foundation is currently accepting tax- deductible donations as it begins its "$20,000 in 2010" Pledge Drive.
Dedicated to improving the lives of Connecticut's youth by supporting athletic and educational endeavors, the Foundation sustains an array of initiatives, including the Bright Horizons Scholarship, a $10,000 grant awarded each year to one deserving Connecticut high school senior. Past BHS recipients include Rebecca Wilcox, Audrey Sperry and Christina Mezes.
In addition to receiving a special gift, all donors to the Connecticut Sun Foundation Pledge Drive will be recognized at a Sun game and acknowledged in the Annual Report. All pledges must be paid in full one year after the initial pledge has been made.
