Falcons Announce Community Programs

Springfield Falcons News Release


The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today a pair of community programs Falcons players will be involved in over the next three months.

#25 Jake Taylor has been named the team's official spokesperson for the 2010 March of Dimes March for Babies event to be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Forest Park in Springfield. Jake, along with his wife Haley and son Jackson, recently recorded a public service announcement highlighting this special event.

Also, #24 Theo Peckham has partnered with the YMCA of Greater Springfield to have six separate families come to a Falcons game as Peckham's guest. The families are selected through the YMCA they will receive four tickets to a pre-selected Falcons home game, dinner at the game and a chance to meet Peckham after the game. This special program started on January 22 and will continue for the home games on January 29, February 5, February 12, March 5 and March 12.
