It was an up-tempo game from start to finish behind coach Otis Hailey's new style of play.

Harvey Thomas had a career night with 31 points, 10 rebounds, seven steals and two blocks. Byron Mouton added 28 points, seven rebounds and three blocks. Scooter Sherrill had 28 points and 12 assists.

"The new style of play is definitely effective," Thomas said. "We're going to have to get use to it as a team that really closes games out."

The first half was full of dunks and lay-ups for Maryland while they led by as much as fifteen points in the first quarter.

Quebec received a boost from local star Jamaal Wise who added 11 points in the first half. Maryland led 65-46 at the break.

The third quarter saw the Kebs completely takeover the game behind 24 second half points from Charles Fortier. Yul Michael (eight points) and Samuel Audet-Sow (15 points) combined for 19 second half points and cut the lead to 88-86 behind a Fortier three. Fortier had a game-high 39 points.
