Orpike And Bernhardt Reassigned By Affiliate To Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers© announced today that forwards Andrew Orpik and Justin Bernhardt have been reassigned to Las Vegas by their AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.
Bernhardt, 21, recorded one goal and one assist in 12 games with San Antonio this season. Before being recalled by the Rampage on Nov. 16, 2009, the rookie posted three goals and one assist in nine games with the Wranglers at the beginning of the 2009-10 season. The Yorkton, SK, native totaled 103 goals, and 242 total points in 307 career WHL games for Prince Albert, Kelowna, and Regina between 2003-09. Orpik, 23, notched two assists in 11 games with San Antonio this season. Before being recalled by the Rampage on Nov. 27, 2009, the rookie posted six goals and four assists in 17 games with the Wranglers. The East Amherst, NY native skated in 155 games in his NCAA career for Boston College, where he totaled 18 goals and 29 assists, along with 145 penalty minutes for the Eagles. Orpik was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the seventh round, 227th overall, of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, and signed an AHL contract with the Rampage on August 25th, 2009.
