Five All-Stars For Indiana Ice

INDIANAPOLIS - For the second consecutive season, the Indiana Ice will have a full hand of all-stars at the 2010 USHL All-Star Game as five members of the defending champs will stay put in Indy to compete in the game on Tuesday, January 26th from Pepsi Coliseum.
The five-player Ice contingent selected for the East squad are goaltender Cab Morris, defenseman Nick Mattson, and forwards Shane Berschbach, Bryon Paulazzo and Max Cook.
Morris has been arguably one of the top three goaltenders in the USHL this season as he currently sits atop the goaltender leaderboard in save percentage (.926) and shutouts (3) and is second in GAA (2.04). Mattson is a North Dakota recruit who was coming on strong for the Ice until being sidelined recently to injury. The smooth-skating defenseman has registered seven points (3G, 4A) and three power play goals in 21 games.
Berschbach is a repeat selection for the East squad as he has produced 20 points (7G, 13A) in 24 games this season. He joins John Kemp (UNO) as the Ice's only two-time selection for the contest.
Veteran forwards Paulazzo and Cook have been solid contributors for the Ice up front as both players have 21 points on the season. Paulazzo has recorded eight goals and 13 assists and a team-leading (+18) plus/minus, while Cook is second on the club with nine goals to go along with 12 assists.
It is the second straight season that five Ice players were selected to the mid-season classic as Brett Bennett, Joe Hartman, Berschbach, Stanislav Galiev and Brandon Richardson were participants on the 2009 East squad.
