Amerks, Knighthawks Announce Three-Year Marketing Partnership With Seneca Gaming Corporation

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League and Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League have entered into a three-year marketing partnership with Seneca Gaming Corporation, the teams announced today. The pact includes arena signage, team broadcast commercial placement, game night promotions and several other products offered by the teams.
"We are proud to team up with both the Americans and Knighthawks," stated Seneca Gaming Chairman Jeffrey Gill. "The Americans, one of hockey's most storied franchises, and the Knighthawks, are both very popular in the region. This partnership provides us a unique opportunity to connect with fans in the Greater Rochester Area, which continues to be a key market for us, and to be a part of the excitement generated by these two great sports franchises."
Lewis Staats, President of both the Americans and Knighthawks, is equally as proud to announce the new deal.
"Our partnership will truly be a very unique sports marketing relationship. There are several exciting elements that we have planned that will highlight our relationship with Seneca Gaming, and entertain our loyal fans in the process."
Seneca Gaming Corporation operates the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Niagara Falls, NY; Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel, in Salamanca, NY; and Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in downtown Buffalo. The Seneca Niagara and Seneca Allegany casino properties will be highlighted within the Marketing Partnership with the Rochester Americans and Rochester Knighthawks.
The Rochester Americans, now in the middle of its 54th consecutive season in the American Hockey League, is the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers. The Rochester Knighthawks opens its 16th regular season as a member of the National Lacrosse League this Saturday, January 9th at 8:05pm vs. the Buffalo Bandits at Blue Cross Arena.
