Amerks Announce Scheduling Change For Mid-December

December 1, 2009 - American Hockey League (AHL) Rochester Americans

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today a scheduling change for the 2009-10 American Hockey League season. Rochester's home game originally scheduled for Wednesday, January 27th against the Syracuse Crunch at 7:05 p.m. has been rescheduled for Tuesday, December 15that The Blue Cross Arena. Game time remains the same at 7:05 p.m. The game needed to be moved to an earlier date in order to accommodate an event that is to be held at the downtown Rochester venue.

"We have partners we work with everyday at The Blue Cross Arena and this schedule change has been made at the request of one of those partners" said Amerks President Lewis Staats. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our valued season ticket holders, but we still expect to have a good crowd to watch us take on the Crunch".

The Amerks continue their season-long six-game road trip this week with back-to-back tilts with the Manitoba Moose on Tuesday, December 1st and Wednesday, December 2nd. Both contests are slated for 8:30 p.m. EST starts at the MTS Centre and will be broadcast live on SportsRadio 1280 WHTK and FM 107.3, Rochester's Sports Talk.
