BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, continue their six-game homestand on the Mercy and Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena with a pair of games over the weekend against the Las Vegas Wranglers. The first-place Condors host Trading Card Collectors Set # 2 Giveaway on Friday and then one of the most anticipated events of the season, Teddy Bear Toss, on Saturday. Both games begin at 7 p.m., the doors open at 6 p.m.Friday marks Trading Card Collectors Set Giveaway #2, presented by Hot Hits 93.1. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive the limited edition trading cards upon entry. The strip of six cards features F Andrew Ianiero, D Stu Bickel, LW Shawn Weller, RW Stephane Goulet, D Raymond Eichenlaub and Colonel Claw'd. This is the second of a five-set series scheduled throughout the season.
During the first intermission of Friday's game, figure skating coach Danielle Acala will have her students from the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center perform. The second intermission will feature a Barber Honda and Bakersfield Californian Chuck-a-Puck worth $600 for the winner. Plus, one lucky shooter will have the chance to win $500 by scoring a goal from five out of six designated locations on the ice.
On Saturday, it's Teddy Bear Toss, presented by 29 Eyewitness News, KERN 1180 and Wells Fargo Bank. All fans are encouraged to bring a new or gently-used teddy bear or stuffed animal to throw onto the ice following the first Condors goal. The stuffed animals will be collected by the United Way of Kern County and donated to local children in need. Last year, a Condors record 7,614 stuffed animals were thrown by 8,900 fans, the second largest crowd in team history. Over the past 10 years, more than 50,000 bears have been donated at Teddy Bear Toss. Saturday is also a Big Buddies Night, dedicated to providing underprivileged children the opportunity to attend a Condors game free of charge thanks to local donations. The first intermission will feature a mini-hockey game between members of the mites Bakersfield Ice Sports Center in-house squad. Meanwhile, the second intermission will see the Bakersfield Jr. Condors take part in a shootout. The Jr. Condors play a 44-game schedule in the Western States Hockey League, and play their home games at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center. Former Condors Scott Hay, Paul Willett and Paul Rosebush serve as coaches.
Following every game, Condors players will be at the Bakersfield Marriott Autograph Booth, located on the arena concourse behind section 108. D Raymond Eichenlaub and F Andrew Ianiero will be at the booth on Friday and D Mark Mitera and C Matthew Myers will be there on Saturday. The players will arrive at the booth approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the game to meet fans and sign autographs.

The box office will be closed on Thanksgiving and will close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
