Nick Vorberg, Milwaukee Wave Nick Vorberg posted the fourth shutout in Milwaukee Wave history on Sunday in the Wave's 15-0 victory over the Monterrey La RaZa at Arena Monterrey. Vorberg, a 34-year-old from Grants Pass, Ore., stopped 13 shots as the Wave allowed no points on the road for the first time in their 26-year existence. The win was the 80th in Vorberg's Milwaukee career and the third shutout of his indoor career =8B the other two were with the Utah Freeze of the CISL, including one against Monterrey.
About the Major Indoor Soccer League The MISL represents the major league of professional indoor soccer, featuring the finest indoor soccer players from around the world. The league consists of five member clubs in 2009-10: the Baltimore Blast, La RaZa de Monterrey, Philadelphia KiXX, Rockford Rampage and the Milwaukee Wave. The regular season will run for 18 weeks and will conclude on Sunday, March 21. The postseason is set to start the following weekend with the top three teams qualifying. The second- and third-place teams will square-off in a home-and-home Semifinal series with the winner advancing to battle the top seed.
