Peoria Rivermen News Release

PEORIA, Ill. Wendy Mitchell, formerly director of ticket sales, has been promoted to director of business development.

Mitchell is in her ninth season with the Rivermen and was in her fifth as director of ticket sales. Her expanded role will involve more of a focus on sales in both tickets and corporate partnerships.

"After nine seasons with the Rivermen, Wendy has developed a tremendous book of business and an uncanny ability to sell," said Morin. "I have full confidence that Wendy will use her terrific skill set to further grow revenue for the Rivermen and help us achieve our goals."

Olinik brings with him a wealth of hockey experience including serving as an account and group sales executive for the St. Louis Blues for the past two-plus seasons. Prior to joining the Blues, Central Michigan University graduate worked for both the Mississippi RiverKings (Central Hockey League) and the Memphis Xplorers (af2). He also worked four seasons in the United Hockey League with Motor City, Port Huron, and Flint.

Bartolazzi comes to the Rivermen directly from the Bloomington Prairie Thunder where he served as the manager of ticket operations. He was promoted to that title from an account executive in August after completing his first season as a full-time employee with the club. He began his time in Bloomington as an intern with both the Prairie Thunder and the Extreme in May of 2008. He graduated from Lincoln College with a bachelor of science in sports management.

Fox, a graduate of St. Ambrose University, has also worked with the St. Louis Blues ticket department as a season ticket and group sales executive. Most recently he was a season ticket and group sales executive with both the Amarillo Gorillas (CHL) and the Dusters (af2). He has also worked with the Oklahoma City Blazers (CHL).

The Rivermen kick off a three-game road trip tonight in Houston at 7:05 p.m. They will travel to San Antonio on Friday and take on the Wolves in Chicago on Saturday. All games can be heard live on Hippie 101.1 FM or online through www.rivermen.net.
