Calgary, AB - Calgary Hitmen forward Misha Fisenko will play for Team Russia in the upcoming 2009 Subway Super Series.Fisenko, in his second season in the Western Hockey League, first with Calgary, will play on Wednesday, November 25th in Victoria as Russia takes on Team WHL.
This marks the second year in a row Fisenko will play for his home country.
The Subway Super Series is in its seventh season and is an integral part of the evaluation process prior to Team Canada's World Junior Selection Camp in December.
DID YOU KNOW? Fisenko played for Russia at the 2008 World Under-18 Hockey Championship....Was drafted 51st overall by the Vancouver Giants in the 2008 CHL Import Draft....Played for the Russia Selects in the 2008 ADT Canada Russia Challenge.
