The Windsor Spitfires ended the Kitchener Rangers six game winning streak with a 6-3 victory at The Aud. Greg Nemisz scored the game opening goal on a wrap around at the 3:20 mark of the first period to put the Spitfires up 1-0. Kitchener's Jeremy Morin replied with a power play marker at the 13:11 mark to tie the game. Windsor's Taylor Hall and Adam Henrique scored within 1:41 to end 20-minutes of play 3-1 for the Spitfires.
Morin scored the lone goal of the second period with 5-seconds left of a 2-man advantage for Kitchener to make it a one-goal game.
Kitchener's Chris MacKinnon tied the game 3-3 just 45-seconds into the third period. Windsor would once more take the lead after Kenny Ryan scored his second goal of the season at the 2:19 mark on a deflection that beat Brandon Maxwell. Nemisz scored the insurance marker for Windsor at 13:27, his second goal of the game and went on to get a hat-trick with an empty net goal.
Maxwell was sharp in the Rangers net making 39 saves.
