The Kelowna Rockets are hosting a Family Skate this Sunday as part of a busy weekend where they play twice before capping it off by skating with fans.The Tim Horton's Family Skate with the entire Rockets team takes place Sunday, November 8 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Prospera Place. Admission is a non perishable foot item for charity.
Meanwhile the Rockets are coming off a 5-4 shootout win over Prince George and getting set for two more inter-divisonal games this weekend. Kelowna will host Chilliwack Friday night at 7 p.m. at Prospera Place before traveling to Kamloops for a game on Saturday.
The Rockets are 9-7-1-0 so far this season and enter the weekend in second place in the WHL BC division.
The Rockets would also like to remind the public about a special 2 p.m. game in honour of Remembrance Day on Nov. 11 against Red Deer. Note the start time for the special afternoon faceoff.
Rockets tickets have once again been a hot ticket this year as each of the team's 11 home games has been a sellout at the 6,007 seat Prospera Place. Standing room tickets are available.
