The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they have made several recent roster moves. The Gladiators released goaltender Jon Horrell, originally signed as an emergency backup. Horrell played one game in net against the South Carolina Stingrays October 23, posting a 6-5 shootout win, the first ECHL victory of his career.In addition, the Gladiators activated goaltender Josh Johnson and defenseman Aaron Brocklehurst from the injured reserve and placed forward Matt Francis on the 7-day IR and forward Jamie Fritsch on the 3-day IR.
The Gladiators continue their 7th season in the ECHL on Friday, November 6th vs. Florida at 7:35 p.m.
The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and Columbus Blue Jackets and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
