Derlago Loaned To AHL's Providence Bruins

November 4, 2009 - ECHL (ECHL) Idaho Steelheads

(Boise, ID) - Forward Mark Derlago, who leads Idaho in goals with six, has been loaned by the Idaho Steelheads to Providence of the American Hockey League.

The 23-year-old Derlago signed with Idaho in the offseason after spending the past two seasons bouncing between the ECHL's Bakersfield Condors and the AHL's Manitoba Moose. In eight games with the Steelheads so far this season, Derlago has six goals and four assists.

Idaho now has three players on loan in the American Hockey League: Goaltender Rejean Beauchemin (Manitoba), forward Mark McCutcheon (Manitoba), and Derlago.

Idaho plays at Utah Wednesday and Friday before returning to Qwest Arena Saturday night to face the same Grizzlies.

Roster Note: Defenseman Kyle Radke has been activated from the Injured Reserve list and will be in uniform Wednesday night for Idaho.

The Steelheads return home Saturday, November 7, to host the aforementioned Grizzlies. It's another "Sellout Saturday" at Qwest Arena -- if the game is a sellout, pitchers of beer and soda are half-price in the SportZone after the game. Tickets are available at the Qwest Arena box office or by calling 208.331.TIXS. Full-season and partial-season ticket plans remain available as well. Contact the Steelheads front office at 208.383.0080 or log on to www.idahosteelheads.com for more information.
