Brandon, Manitoba -- WCG-TV will be showing 30 games during the balance of the 2009-10 Western Hockey League regular season.The local cable channel has entered into a partnership with Shaw Communications to show WHL broadcasts.
The 30 game commitment begins Wednesday night with a contest between the Swift Current Broncos and Saskatoon Blades.
The Brandon Wheat Kings will be featured four times -- two games on the road and two games on home ice, including the Friday, November 20th game against the visiting Calgary Hitmen.
Providing colour commentary on this year's Shaw telecasts will be former Wheat King and NHLer Jeff Odgers.
