The Pensacola Ice Flyers invite fans to the Ice Flyers Inaugural Opening Weekend November 6 and 7. On Friday, November 6, the Ice Flyers host the Louisiana IceGators at the Civic Center at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Flyers host the Columbus Cottonmouths Saturday night, November 7, at 7:05 p.m. as well.The Ice Flyers will be wearing commemorative Inaugural Season Opening Night jerseys on both evenings. Fans can win the actual game-worn jerseys in an auction held immediately following Saturday's game. Those interested in signing up for the auction may do so at the customer service table during this weekend's games.
UFC fighter Dennis Hallman was signed by the Ice Flyers and will be at both games signing autographs and posing for pictures. Come meet the "Toughest Man on Ice" at his concourse booth during the game and welcome him to Pensacola. Dennis "Superman" Hallman has a career MMA record of 41-12-2, and is currently riding a five-fight win streak.
Back on the ice, fans can enjoy the Pensacola Figure Skating Club during an intermission of Friday's game. Also, the Junior Ice Flyers will be on the ice during one of Saturday's intermissions. More information about Pensacola figure skating is available at www.pensacolafigureskating.com.
