November 4, 2009 - Western Hockey League (WHL) Saskatoon Blades

The Saskatoon Blades have moved back into the BMO CHL MasterCard Top 10 Rankings with a seventh place ranking in the Week 8 edition released on Wednesday.

Since the previous rankings last week the Blades played four games in a five-day stretch. On Friday, the Bridge City Bunch came away with a 5-2 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings at home. The Blades then traveled to Moose Jaw Warriors on Saturday, beating the Warriors 4-3. On Sunday, the team was in Swift Current and beat the Broncos 3-1. Last evening, the Blades came away with a 2-1 decision at home over the Warriors in a rematch of Saturday's battle.

The Blades are in action tonight at Credit Union Centre with a matchup against the Swift Current Broncos. Game time is 7:05 pm.
