RICHMOND, VA - The Richmond Flying Squirrels have announced ticket prices for their inaugural season in Richmond, VA, as the Double-A, Eastern League affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. Season-seats in the refurbished lower-seating bowl (Diamond Club) at The Diamond for the 2010 season are $568.00, $20.00 lower than the Eastern League average. Individual game Diamond Club seats in the lower-level will be $10.00, more than a dollar less on average than other venues in the Eastern League."We have promised fans the most affordable family-friendly entertainment in the Richmond area," said Flying Squirrels' CEM Chuck Domino. "We want to ensure our fans as we grow this franchise together that we have their best interests in mind at all times, and offering season-seats $20 lower than the league-average and a less expensive individual game ticket than almost every team in the league reflects that."
Fans will also find affordability in the Silver-level of seats at The Diamond in 2010. Reserved seats in the second-level will be regularly priced at $8.00 for all Flying Squirrels' Thursday-Sunday games. Those same seats will be specially priced at $6.00 for all Monday-Wednesday games. A $6.00 general admission ticket will be available for each of the Flying Squirrels' 2010 home games, with the exception of the team's planned Independence Day celebration. That celebration will include games on both July 3rd, and July 4th.
"We plan on offering something for everyone, and that includes the price it costs to come to the ballpark in the first place," said Flying Squirrels' Vice President &COO Todd "Parney" Parnell. "Our aim will always be to provide affordability to families in every aspect of what we do, and fans will also see that effort in our concessions and merchandising operations."

Season-tickets for the Flying Squirrels' 71-game 2010 home schedule are currently available. The team is offering fans the opportunity to purchase their season-seats for up to three years. Fans that choose to secure their seats for more than one season, will be guaranteed their seats for each of those seasons, and will also be fixed at a price of $568.00 per season. 2010 individual game tickets will go on sale on March 15th, one month prior to the Flying Squirrels first game at The Diamond. The Flying Squirrels 2010 home opener is scheduled for Thursday, April 15th.
