Art on Ice will launch tomorrow:Team mascot Wild Willie will be one of the participants at the launch of an exciting new program to raise funds in support of the Breakfast Programs in School District 2 and Community schools. The Wildcats are delighted to partner in this innovative program which gets underway tomorrow morning from 7:45 to 8:30am at Magnetic Hill School
Grade 1 to 4 art classes students from Beaverbrook, Forest Glen, Magnetic Hill, Shediac Cape, Port Elgin and Marshview schools will create art projects, such as painting and collage which will be auctioned during December. All proceeds from the auction will go back to the schools in support of their breakfast programs. The art creations will be displayed at the Coliseum during five Wildcats home games beginning on December 1st.
Riverview High Students worth 8,000 pounds:
The Riverview Royals football team led the charge and with the support of school Principal, Mr. Prescott, collected over 8000 pounds of non-perishable food items during the past week which was delivered to the Moncton Food Depot yesterday. The huge effort was a partnership between Sobey's in Riverview, TAS Trucking, Riverview Storage and the Wildcats. The food drive is one of the elements in the Rivalry Cup competition with the Saint John Sea Dogs.
Pumpkin Carving helps Mobile One:
$250.00 will be donated to Mobile One as the result of the Wildcats Pumpkin carving contest. The pumpkin carvings by the Wildcats players were creatively outstanding. The Wildcats extend their thanks to the Bowmans of Jardieneville, near Rexton, for donating the pumpkins. The Wildcats thank everyone who supported this great community charity.

Poppies for Sale at Thursday's game:
During Veterans Week, November 5-11, the Wildcats are supporting the annual Poppy campaign. You can pick up your Poppy at the 50/50 table on the Mezzanine during the games on Thursday and Friday. The annual "Salute to Veterans" ceremony will take place prior to Friday's game.
Roar Store hours expand:
In order to make sure you get the right Wildcats gift as part of your Christmas shopping list the Roar Store will have extended hours during November and December. In addition to being open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am to 2pm and on game days, the Roar Store will be open 11am - 4 pm Saturdays starting November 14th. Great new merchandise has arrived in time for the season. Check it out.
Movember is underway:

Cat of the Day:
Goaltender Josh Tordjman, who played a key role after coming to Moncton in a trade with Victoriaville in December 2005 gets the nod today. Josh went on to the ECHL after his time with the Wildcats and then was promoted to the San Antonio Rampage, the AHL farm team of the Phoenix Coyotes. He played two games with Phoenix last season joining former teammate Keith Yandle.
