Edinburg, TX The Edinburg Roadrunners Baseball Club of the United League are proud to announce the signing of a three year working agreement with the Edinburg Baseball Softball League EBSL is dedicated to the future development of sports in the Edinburg & Rio Grande Valley. The ESBLs goal together with the Roadrunners is to instill the values of team work, sportsmanship and fair play to youth of the community.The Roadrunners are committed to assisting the EBSL in improving and increasing the number of opportunities for young people wishing to be more involved in Baseball/Softball. Currently the EBSL is comprised of 1,400 participants.
The Roadrunners will have a team named after them in each division of the league and will be holding player and coach clinics throughout the summer.
EBSL has scheduled a fundraiser for the first Saturday night of the 2010 season and will start selling tickets for the event later this month.
