Barnstormers Gregory Will Return in 2010

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers of Arena Football One are proud to announce that John Gregory will return as the teams Head Coach and Director of Football Operations for the 2010 season. The Webster City, IA native is one of Arena Footballs winningest coaches, having compiled a 117-89 career record over his first 15 seasons. Over that span, Gregory has been named coach of the year 3 times 1996, 2009). excited to return to the Barnstormers for another season, said Gregory. Our fans are going to see a whole new level of talent in town this season with our move to Arena Football One, and I cant wait to begin to start signing players next week.

In a related note, The League office of Arena Football One confirmed today that teams can begin signing players this Sunday, November 1st. Once signed, these contracts will be submitted to the Arena Football One office for final approval and execution. "We are pleased to begin the process of signing players," said Commissioner Jerry Kurz. "This process will be the culmination and final stages in solidifying the highest caliber and only professional playing of Arena Football."
