10.23.09 - Worcester 3 - Providence 2 - OT - Dunkin Donuts Center
Former Bruin T.J. Trevelyan scored in the third period to force OT and Jamie McGinn netted the game winner as the Sharks defeated the Bruins 3-2 at the Dunkin Donuts Center on Friday. Danny Groulx added a goal and an assist while Alex Stalock made 27 saves in net for Worcester. Logan Couture extended his point streak to four games with an assist. Frazer McLaren fought Brett Cloutier in the first period in a one sided fight won by Frazer. The Sharks outshot the Bruins 36-29.
10.24.09 - Worcester 1 - Springfield 0 - OT - DCU Center
Logan Couture scored on the Sharks 47th shot on goal at 3:49 in sudden death overtime for Worcester's first ever 1-0 victory. Springfield's Devan Dubnyk made 46 saves in net for the Falcons while Alex Stalock recorded his first professional shutout with 18 saves including several game saving stops. Jamie McGinn and Danny Groulx assisted on Couture's goal. Brandon Mashinter recorded a game high six shots on goal.
10.25.09 - Worcester 3 - Hartford 4 - XL Center
T.J. Trevelyan scored his 4th and 5th goals of the season and Andrew Desjardin added another but it wasn't enough as the Sharks fell to the Wolf Pack 4-3 in Hartford on Sunday. Evgeni Grachev and PA Parenteau each scored twice for the Wolf Pack to stop the Sharks winning streak at three games. Tyson Sexsmith made 26 saves in net for Worcester. The Sharks went 1-for-3 on the power play and outshot Hartford 35-30. Danny Groulx added two assists for the Sharks.
Sharks in the Atlantic
The Sharks are currently swimming in 3rd place with 11 points (5-2-0-1) in the Atlantic Division trailing Bridgeport (12 points) and Manchester (13 points). The Falcons are in 4th place with ten points followed by the Bruins and Devils with nine points a piece. The Wolf Pack (8 points) and the Pirates (6 points) round out the eight team division in a very choppy Atlantic Division. The Sharks have the 2nd best winning percentage in the Eastern Conference at .688%.

*Captains for the 2009-10 season: Captain Ryan Vesce (2nd year), Assistant Captains Derek Joslin (2nd year) and Mike Moore (1st year).
*Two more to 400....With the victory vs. Springfield, head coach Roy Sommer has 398 career victories in the AHL.
*From east to west..... The Sharks already have SIX players that heave seen action to both the AHL and NHL this season (McLaren, Zalewski, Vesce, Joslin, McGinn, and Couture ). The Sharks had 11 players accomplish that feat last season.
