Indians Announce 2010 Schedule & Ticket Prices

October 9, 2009 - International League (IL) Indianapolis Indians

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians have announced their complete 2010 schedule and ticket prices. The Tribe's first homestand will include four games against Toledo (April 16-19), two contests vs. Columbus (April 20-21) and three matchups against Louisville (April 22-24).

The standard Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday home start time will once again be 7 p.m., while the nine scheduled Sunday games will begin at 2 p.m. For the third straight season, the 12 Friday affairs will get underway at 7:15 p.m., while Wednesday contests will continue to begin at 1:00 p.m. with the exception of the final Wednesday contest on Sept. 1 which will begin at 7:00 pm.

Indianapolis will again host Louisville in the annual 4th of July game, where fans will be treated to Tribe baseball and two fireworks spectaculars beginning at 6 p.m. The Indians will also have three special 11 a.m. starts -- April 21, May 13 and May 19 -- on "Baseball in Education" days at Victory Field.

Single-game tickets for the 2010 season will be $14 (box seats), $10 (reserved) and $9 (lawn), while children 14-and-under receive $1 off per ticket. It is the first time that lawn tickets have been priced lower then the standard reserved seat.

"The Indianapolis Indians are pleased to continue to offer Baseball Up Close At Victory Field at prices the entire family can afford," Indians Vice President & General Manager Cal Burleson says. "The $1 increase in box and reserved seats is our first ticket price increase in three years, and there will be no increase in price in the lawn seating area. We look forward to having our first Friday night Fireworks of the season on Opening Night, April 16th."

The Indians Knot Hole Kid's Club returns in 2010, where for only $15, children 14 and under receive a membership card good for a reserve seat to all 72 regular-season home games at Victory Field, while also allowing the option of a box seat upgrade at $4 per game.

The Indians also continue to give fans a ticket plan that they can plan with the 20-ticket flex plan options, where fans can purchase a booklet of 20 tickets of either box seats ($220) or reserved seats ($160) that can then be used for any game and in any combination.

A myriad of mini-plan options are also available starting at $60, while groups of 25-99 can enjoy a game at Victory Field for $2 off per ticket and groups of 100 or more can receive a discount of $3. Full season ticket packages, which save fans up to 48%, are also on sale for just $525 per box seat through March 1st, while half season packages run just $396 a plan.
