Maine Celtics News Release

PORTLAND, ME -- The Maine Red Claws, presented by Quirk Chevrolet, today announced that they will hold an open intra-squad at Edward Little High School in Auburn on November 19 at 7 PM. The announcement was made by Red Claws President and General Manager Jon Jennings at the Lewiston-Auburn Chamber of Commerce breakfast. Jennings was joined by Dan Deshaies, the athletic director at Edward Little High School, and Jason Fuller, the athletic director at Lewiston High School, in making the announcement.

Proceeds from the game will benefit the Edward Little High School and Lewiston High School athletic programs. General admission tickets for the November 19 scrimmage are $5 and are available at Lewiston High School's Athletic Office or Edward Little High School's Athletic Office, Florian's Market on Main Street in Auburn, and Gipper's Sports Grill on Center Street in Auburn. Proceeds from the intra-squad game, which will also feature a half-time performance by the Lady Red Claws dance team, will be split evenly between the two schools.

"This will be the first opportunity for basketball fans in Maine to see the Red Claws in game action," said Jennings, "and we are thrilled that the public high schools in Lewiston and Auburn will be able to benefit from this intra-squad game. The Red Claws have received tremendous support from the L-A area, and we are happy to have this opportunity to give back."
