WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added import quarterback Adam DiMichele to their practice roster.
DiMichele (6-1, 202, Temple '08, DOB: July 26, 1985 in McKees Rocks, PA) was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009, but was released in August. He was originally signed by the Eagles as a rookie free agent on May 18, 2009, after earning a tryout during offseason minicamps, but was released on June 11. He was recently with the Calgary Stampeders.
He played his college football at Temple, being named team captain and team MVP in 2007 and 2008. DiMichele threw for 5,024 yards, finishing fourth on the Owls' all-time list, and throwing for 40 touchdowns and rushing for another five. He was a three-sport all-state selection as a senior in football, basketball and baseball at Sto-Rox High School.
