The Tampa Bay Rays have made the following move affecting the roster of Double-A Montgomery prior to their series opener with Mobile on Wednesday night:
OF Rashad Eldridge promoted to Durham (AAA) [23 + 2]
The move leaves the Biscuits one player shy of the Southern League maximum of 24 active players. Two players (RHP Neal Frontz, LHP Darin Downs) are currently on the Disabled List.
