Pearl, MS - The M-Braves notched their second straight win over the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx Monday night at Trustmark Park. 2,091 fans saw the M-Braves win their 29th one-run game of the year.

The M-Braves went up 1-0 in the third when Benji Johnson singled and scored on a double by Travis Jones. West Tenn tied it the fourth when Matt Mangini walked, stole second and scored on a Carlos Triunfel single.

Willie Cabrera gave the M-Braves the lead with his eighth home run of 2009 in the sixth. His solo shot tied him with Brandon Hicks for the team lead.

Ryne Reynoso gave the M-Braves seven strong innings. He gave up one run on only two hits through seven innings and left the game with a 2-1 lead. He improved to 7-9 with the win. Lee Hyde threw 1.1 scoreless innings and Craig Kimbrel came on in the ninth for his sixth save of the season.

Steve Bray gave up two runs on six hits in six innings and left the game trailing 2-1 and fell to 7-7 on the year. Kyle Parker tossed two scoreless relief innings.

The Braves and D-Jaxx play the final game at Trustmark Park in 2009 Tuesday night at 7:05. Mississippi's Edgar Osuna will take on West Tenn's Nick Hill in the fifth and final game of this five-game homestand.
