MOBILE, Ala. - The Mobile BayBears are pleased to announce that the 13th Annual Hank Aaron High School Classic presented by Mobile Educators' Credit Union will be played throughout the Mobile area and Hank Aaron Stadium from February 15-22, 2010.
For the second consecutive year, an unprecedented 20 teams will participate in the Hank Aaron High School Classic including last year's champion, Fairhope, Spanish Fort, Baldwin County, Faith Academy, Murphy, Satsuma, Alma Bryant, Cottage Hill Christian, McGill-Toolen, Davidson, Theodore, St. Paul's Episcopal, Mary G. Montgomery, Baker, Thomasville, UMS-Wright, Foley, Gulf Shores, Daphne and Robertsdale.
Five host sites have been named for a round robin session of contests to be played from February 15-17 with Murphy, McGill-Toolen, Mary G. Montgomery, Fairhope and Foley hosting three other schools.
The tournament will shift to Hank Aaron Stadium with games being played on February 19, 20 and 22. All 20 squads will have an opportunity to play at "The Hank". The classic's title game will be decided at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 22.
