Anderson promoted; Garciaparra rejoins Stars
June 27, 2009 - Southern League (SL) Huntsville Stars
The Milwaukee Brewers announced today that OF Drew Anderson has been activated from the Temporarily Inactive List and promoted to Nashville. INF Michael Garciaparra has been assigned to Huntsville from Nashville.Also, INF Taylor Green has been placed on the 7-Day Disabled List retroactive to June 24th.
All moves are effective immediately and Garciaparra will be in uniform tonight as the Stars close their six-game homestand against the Chattanooga Lookouts.
