Naturals back in town for nine-game homestand

After splitting six games in the Lone Star State, the Naturals will no doubt be happy to get back in front of their own fans again, and there isn't any better time to do that than early June, when school gets out and families can easily come out for one of Northwest Arkansas' best entertainment values. Plus, the Texas League first-half division races come to a close in less than two weeks; and all of this week's games will have playoff-chase implications. Baseball fans won't want to miss the nonstop action of what, with a double-header on the slate for Thursday night becomes the season's longest homestand.

Things get started on Wednesday night when the in-state rival Arkansas Travelers come in to resume the Arkansas Diamond Series on Sunbelt Snack Night alongside media partners Eagle 93.3 and KNWA. The first 1,500 fans will receive a giveaway item, either t-shirts or rally towels, and after the game, Sunbelt Snack will be passing out sweet and salty granola bars. Coinciding with school getting out, Wednesday also features a return of our KIDS EAT FREE promotion. Kids ages 12 and under will receive a voucher upon entering the park good at the concession stands for a hot dog, 12 ounce soda, and a bag of chips courtesy of Tyson Foods, Sierra Mist, and Mrs. Bairds Bread Company. Game time is 7 on Wednesday (Gates open at 6).

Thursday night is Thirsty Thursday, featuring ONE DOLLAR Miller High Life drafts and ONE DOLLAR small Pepsi Fountain Beverages. Our media partners for Thursday include 104.9 The X, 1190 The Fan, ESPN1390AM, and Fox 24. Thursday's game also is a twi-night, single-admission DOUBLE-HEADER. Good ‘ol fashioned two games for the price of one; gates open at 4:30 P.M. and the first pitch of game one is on tap for 5:05.

Friday is another fridaynightbash sponsored by SeaPak alongside media partners KIX104, 360nwa.com, and Fox 24. We'll have pre-game live music from the Mo Brothers, and we're celebrating the birthday of everyone's favorite mascot, Strike the Sasquatch. Join mascots from around the area as we wish Strike a happy birthday as the first 1,000 receive a birthday hat! And after Friday night's game, fans can win prizes by playing Launch-A-Ball and stay for spectacular Post-Game Fireworks! Fridays are also Northwest Arkansas Community College Affiliation Night, and the 7 P.M. start offers all area students with valid school ID the chance to get $1 off a reserved or lawn seat ticket at our box office! Gates open at 5:30 on Fridays, and come early for $2.50 16 ounce Miller High Life drafts at the Miller Party Shack on the first base line, and on the third base line as well, until gametime.

Saturday evening wraps up the series with the Travs and is the unforgettable yearly appearance by the Famous ‘San Diego' Chicken courtesy of Fuji Film alongside media partners Power 105.7 and KFSM. He only visits Arvest Ballpark once a year, so Naturals fans have to catch his act this Saturday! Game time is 7:00, and gates open at 6.

Sunday afternoon in come the Tulsa Drillers on Family Sunday presented by Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products alongside media partners Magic 107.9 and KFSM. Sunday's game carries begins at 2:30 (gates open at 1:30), and will feature a special appearance by Nickelodeon's DIEGO! We'll be giving away Diego Chapstick, a face painter will also be on hand Sunday, and kids also will have the opportunity to run the bases after every Sunday game, led by members of the J.B. Hunt Transport Knothole Gang.

Monday night is a great night for baseball with Monday Night Lights presented by Ozarks Electric Cooperative Corporation alongside media partners Hot Mix 101.9 and KNWA offers fans the chance to bring in their Ozarks Electric bill for $2 off of a Premium, Reserved, or Subway Berm ticket at the ticket window. Monday's also feature DOLLAR HOT DOGS from Tyson Foods. Monday also means fans will have the chance to play Baseball Bingo to win prizes from the Morning News. This Monday night is also a Pack the Park Monday. ALS and K's for the Cure has been selling tickets to Monday's game in hopes of raising money to fund their spectacular program. The fun begins at 7 P.M (Gates open at 6).

Tuesday night is Arvest Customer Appreciation Night presented by Arvest Bank alongside media partners US94, 98.3 The Keg, and KNWA. All Arvest customers presenting a bill, credit card, or debit card at the box office window receive $2 off their Premium, Reserved, or Subway Berm ticket. Lastly, Tuesday also features HALF PRICE GROUPS- Groups of 20 or more are offered half off our normal ticket prices in the reserved and Subway Berm section. This Tuesday also features the KIDS EAT FREE promotion for the second time this homestand. We'll have our new misting stations and a Slip N' Slide up as well as a Petting Zoo in the outfield. Come play hooky with the Naturals and enjoy some afternoon baseball; gates open at 11 A.M.
