Mississippi Braves News Release
Pearl, MS - The Mississippi Braves announce that the Atlanta Braves promoted IF Kody Kirkland to AAA Gwinnett on Tuesday. C Jose Camarena was promoted to AA Mississippi from R Danville and will be active for tonight's game against West Tenn.
Kirkland was batting .190 with six doubles, a triple, two homers and eight RBI through 38 games with the M-Braves. Camarena has hit .171 with two doubles and an RBI in 11 games with the M-Braves this year.
Mississippi's roster now has 24 active players with one player on the disabled list.
