Edmonton, AB - Due to the impending inclement weather expected for the Calgary region, the Edmonton Capitals exhibition game versus the Calgary Vipers Monday May 18th has been re-scheduled for Sunday May 17th. Game time will be 3 p.m. at Calgary's Foothills Stadium.
Meanwhile, Edmonton baseball fans are invited to meet some members of the team that they will be cheering for starting May 21st. The Edmonton Capitals will be hosting an informal meet and greet at the Edmonton Valley Zoo. All fans are invited to collect autographs, ask questions, and take pictures.
Who: Edmonton Capitals Baseball Team
What: Autograph Session
Where: Edmonton Valley Zoo, directly inside the gates. The event will be moved indoors at the zoo if the weather doesn't permit an outside function.
When: Sunday, May 17th (12 p.m. -1 p.m.)
The inaugural season of the Edmonton Capitals kicks of on Thursday, May 21st at 7:00pm. Tickets are available at the new Telus Field Box Office, at any Ticketmaster location or on-line at capsbaseball.ca.
