Kenny Chesney to Play a Special Concert at Pizza Hut Park on May 17

Frisco, TX (Wednesday, May 6, 2009) - Kenny Chesney will travel back to Frisco on Sunday, May 17 for a very special performance at Pizza Hut Park, after his May 2 concert at the venue was postponed due to inclement weather. The upcoming concert will be free for all fans that purchased tickets to the original show.

Fans who purchased tickets online or by phone to the May 2 show and provided an email address will receive an email with a link from Ticketmaster to print the same number of free tickets to the May 17 event. Fans who purchased ticket via phone and did not provide an email address will receive the same number of free tickets to the May 17 show via regular mail from Ticketmaster within the next 10 days.

Fans who purchased tickets to the original show at an outlet or at the Pizza Hut Park box office should bring their ticket stubs or receipt to the Pizza Hut Park North Box Office beginning Monday, May 11 through Wednesday, May 13 (9 a.m. - 5 p.m. CT), to receive the same number of free tickets to the May 17 concert.

All tickets to the May 17 event will be general admission, first come, first served. Floor tickets will be exchanged for GA floor tickets, and lower bowl tickets will be exchanged for GA lower bowl tickets. Any unclaimed tickets will become available to the public at no charge at www.ticketmaster.com on Thursday, May 14 at 10 a.m. CT.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. on the day of the show. Additional concert details to be announced and posted on www.pizzahutpark.com at a later date.

About Pizza Hut Park Opened on August 6, 2005, Pizza Hut Park is a 145-acre multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility located at the intersection of Main Street and the Dallas North Tollway in Frisco, TX, and is home to FC Dallas of Major League Soccer. The stadium has a capacity of 20,500 fans for sporting events and can expand to accommodate over 27,000 for concerts by utilizing field seats. The facility includes 17 tournament-grade fields used for youth and adult soccer, as well as high school sports and other events, drawing millions of visitors since opening. The $105 million public-private complex is owned by the City of Frisco in partnership with the Hunt Sports Group (HSG), the Frisco Independent School District, and Collin County.
