Dust Devils Ink Radio Partnership with Gap West

The Tri-City Dust Devils and Gap West Broadcasting have reached an agreement that will make Newstalk 870 AM KFLD the new Radio Home of the Dust Devils. Under the terms of the agreement, KFLD will be the exclusive over-the-air carrier of live play-by-play broadcasts of Dust Devils baseball.

"Gap West has been a valuable partner for us, and we are excited to add the radio broadcasts to our partnership," said Dust Devils President Brent Miles. "They have been a great supporter of local sports, and we look forward to being part of their lineup."

In addition to KFLD, Gap West operates KEYW (98.3 The Key), KOLW (97.5 Cool FM), KORD 102.7 FM, and KXRX (97 Rock) in the Tri-Cities markets, and numerous other stations throughout the western United States.

The first of 76 Dust Devils broadcasts during the 2009 season will be June 20th, as the Dust Devils open the season at the Boise Hawks. Broadcasts will continue to be available online at www.dustdevilsbaseball.com.

The home opener at Gesa Stadium is June 23rd versus Vancouver. Ticket plans are on sale now and start at just $49, with full-season tickets available for as low as $259. Special ticket rates are available for groups of 20 or more.
