The Oklahoma City RedHawks will kickoff a "Taste of the Big Leagues" campaign tonight. Each homestand will feature a different MLB club. First up, NY Yankees. Fans can expect to see, taste and touch Yankees traditions and history each game of the first homestand. From life-size subways to an authentic Nathan's hot dog the RedHawks will bring major league fun to Oklahoma City April 17th - 24th.

Friday, April 17th - 7:05 p.m.

Opening Night! The RedHawks to take on the Memphis Redbirds at 7:05 p.m. RedHawks will honor former Oklahoman and NY Yankee, Bobby Murcer, during a special ceremony prior to first pitch. RedHawks No. 1 jersey to be retired and a commemorative logo to be unveiled on centerfield wall. Murcer's wife Kay will also be present for the tribute. The first 2,500 fans will receive a commemorative Murcer T-shirt provided by AT&T and USA Screen Printing. Fireworks to follow game. (Gated parking lot closed for fireworks - call Holly to make special arrangements for live trucks)

Saturday, April 18th - 7:05 p.m.

Experience "A Night on Broadway" as the RedHawks vs. the Redbirds at 7:05 p.m. NFL stars Tommie Harris, Jamaal Brown, Mark Clayton, and Dusty Dvoracek will be available for fan autographs from 6 - 7 p.m. prior to throwing out first pitches. (NFL players available to media for interviews at 7 p.m. on the field)

Sunday, April 19th - 4:05 p.m.

It's "Sonic Sunday Fun Day" as the RedHawks vs. the Redbirds at 4:05 p.m. Following the game kids of all ages can run the bases and play catch on the field with Rowdy.

Monday, April 20th - 4:05 p.m.

RedHawks stimulus package, ALL SEATS $7! The Oklahoma City RedHawks vs. Memphis Redbirds at 4:05 p.m. in final game of the first series. Choc beer $1 through the 5th inning.

Tuesday, April 21st - 7:05 p.m.

It's "Pepsi 2 for 1 Admission and Schwabs' Kids Eat Free" as the RedHawks meet the Omaha Royals at 7:05 p.m. Fans receive two for one admission with a Pepsi product and kids eat free with the purchase of a full price ticket!

Wednesday, April 22nd - 7:05 p.m.

Time again for the RedHawks stimulus package, ALL SEATS $7! Game time 7:05 p.m. as the RedHawks play Omaha in game two of the second series.

Thursday, April 23rd - 7:05 p.m.

It's "Thirsty Thursday" as the RedHawks vs. Royals at 7:05 p.m. Fans can enjoy Coors Light and Miller Lite $1 beer through the 5th inning.

Friday, April 24th - 7:05 p.m.

The first 1,000 fans will walk away with a Ruben Sierra baseball! The giveaway is the first of a series of baseballs that will be handed out on select Friday nights this season. Baseball's giveaways to celebrate RedHawks players that have gone on to the big leagues. Last game of the homestand at 7:05 p.m. as the RedHawks play Omaha.
