Lions and Angus Reid agree to terms on extension

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club announced today that centre Angus Reid has agreed to terms on a contract extension through the 2011 season.
"Angus is a very important part of our offence and this extension will help to ensure we remain consistent up front," said Lions GM and head coach Wally Buono.
Reid has been the club's starting centre for seven straight seasons which include 130 regular season games, eight playoff games and two Grey Cups.
A steady and enduring performer, Reid has played all 18 regular season games in each of the last seven seasons.
