Brahmas Announce 2009 Playoff Roster

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (March 24)- The Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League (CHL) have announced their playoff roster for their 2008-09 postseason run.
Among the 19 skater roster are goaltenders Brett Jaeger and David Cacciola, six defensemen and 11 forwards. The Brahmas regular season leading scorer Scott Sheppard will be suited up as will forward Jason Deitsch and All-Star defenseman Justin Kinnunen. Amateur players will be named later this week. All CHL teams are allowed up to three amateur players in the postseason (two skaters and one goaltender).
The Texas Brahmas first playoff game is this Saturday, March 28 at 7:05 PM. The first 1000 fans at the NYTEX Sports Centre for the game will receive a free rally towel courtesy of Work Flow One. Immediately following the game NYTEX is offering a free post game skate for Brahmas fans. On Sunday the Brahmas will host Game 2 at 3:05 PM and will be issuing out 1000 free Brahmas playoff T-shirts courtesy of Dr. Geoffrey Millican, Panera Bread and NYTEX.
The Brahmas will play the winner of the Corpus Christi and Rio Grande Valley "play in" series. Rio Grande Valley won the first game of the best of three series last night.
