Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen claimed the Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy as Western Hockey League Regular Season Champions Saturday night with a 4-1 win in Medicine Hat.

It's the third time in franchise history the Hitmen have won the regular season title previously capturing the trophy in 1998/1999 and 1999/2000.

Four different Hitmen struck for goals in the win; Alex Plante (8), Carson McMillan (30), Joel Broda (52) and Chase Schaber (8) into an empty net.

Martin Jones made 19 saves to record his WHL leading 45th win of the season.

Calgary went 2-5 on the power play while the Tigers were 0-6.

The win improves the Hitmen record to 58-9-3-1, good for 120 points, tying the franchise record for most points in a single season. The 1999/2000 Hitmen also totaled 120 points.
