B-Sens Announce Roster Moves

March 5, 2009 - American Hockey League (AHL) - Binghamton Senators News Release


BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators signed today forwards Jarrett Konkle and Paul McIlveen to 25-game professional tryout agreements. The B-Sens also released center Chris Korchinski from his 25-game professional tryout agreement.

Konkle, 26, has 29 goals, 22 assists and a +1 rating in 57 games this season with Fresno and Johnstown of the ECHL. He currently ranks second in the ECHL with eight game-winning goals, while his 29 goals are tied for sixth. A native of Toronto, Ontario, Konkle will make his AHL debut on Friday night when the B-Sens face the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

McIlveen, 22, has 16 goals, 27 assists and a +1 rating in 51 games this season with Elmira and South Carolina of the ECHL. He made his AHL debut with Norfolk, registering no points and two penalty minutes on March 3.

The B-Sens (32-22-5-3, 72 pts.) return to the ice on Friday night when they take on the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the Arena at Harbor Yard.
