Flames Recall Forward Kris Chucko From Quad City

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today the recall of forward Kris Chucko from Quad City of the American Hockey League. Chucko will join the Flames in Philadelphia today in preparation for their game tonight against the Flyers.

The 6'2", 211lbs forward has reached professional career highs in goals (20); assist (18); and points (38) in 56 games played this season with Quad City. Drafted by the Flames in the first round (24th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, this is Chucko's first recall to the NHL parent team.

The Quad City Flames visit Rockford on Friday for a 7:30 p.m. start. The game can be heard on 93.9 FM WYEC beginning at 7:05 p.m. with The Hayman's Ace Hardware Pre-Game Show. Fans can also watch the game for just $6.00 at ahllive.com.

On Saturday, the Flames host Faith Night vs. the Iowa Chops. Groups that would like to take advantage of the Faith Night discount should call the Flames Ticket Office at (309) 764-7825. After the game, The Furnace Midwest Band will perform. A portion of the proceeds from Saturday's ticket sales will benefit WINNIE'S Place, a women's shelter in the Quad Cities. Hot dogs will also be available for $1.50. After the game, members of the Modern Woodmen Kids Club are invited down to the ice to skate with Flames players.
