River Cats Release Complete 2009 Schedule; Put Season Tickets On-Sale

West Sacramento, Calif. - The two-time defending PCL and Triple-A Champion Sacramento River Cats released their complete 2009 schedule today and announced that season tickets and mini-plans are currently on sale. The team will open up their '09 home schedule on April 9 at Raley Field, when they face off against the Tacoma Rainiers (Seattle Mariners) at 7:05 p.m. The complete schedule is attached (times subject to change).

Key dates on the home schedule include: April 9, Opening Day 2009 and the presentation of the 2008 PCL and Triple-A Championship rings; May 4, the Cats square off with their new regional rival, the first-year Reno Aces; July 3, the team's traditional Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular; and August 5, a rematch of the PCL Championship Series when the Oklahoma City RedHawks come to Raley Field.

A wide variety of season ticket and mini-plan packages are available for the 2009 season. Prices start as low as $162 and can include tickets to every River Cats game at Raley Field or select prime dates throughout the season.
