Cutters Debut New MySpace Page

November 14, 2008 - New York-Penn League (NYPL) Williamsport Crosscutters

The Williamsport Crosscutters have announced the debut of their new MySpace™ page at www.myspace.com/crosscutters.

"Our MySpace™ page allows us to tap into a virtual community of users both locally and around the world to spread the Cutters brand. More importantly, it will provide more opportunities to connect with our younger fans who use the internet as a social network. It also gives us the chance to take a more casual approach to our marketing. You'll definitely see things there that would not normally show up on our website," said Cutters Vice President of Marketing Gabe Sinicropi.

Boomer, the new Crosscutters mascot, has a big presence on the new site including his own blog called "The Logger Blogger". The blog will allow Boomer to communicate with fans both during the season and in the off season.

The site currently contains Crosscutters information, Boomer's Blog, videos, a photo slide show and more. As with other MySpace™ pages, the content will grow week by week so fans should check back often to see what's new and and become a Cutters MySpace "friend".

Fans can link to the new Cutters MySpace™ site from the Crosscutters website at www.crosscutters.com or view it at www.myspace.com/crosscutters.
