Happy Halloween from the Somerset Patriots. We hope you enjoy a fun and safe day of Trick or Treating and family.Patriots mascot Sparkee and his best friend Slider spent their Halloween afternoon trick or treating with local children at Downtown Somerville's Annual Trick or Treat celebration.
Sparkee and Slider joined the kids on their walk down Main Street Somerville visiting each local business for some candy.
They also helped employees from Mannion's Irish Pub hand out candy to all the Trick or Treaters.
The annual celebration showcases Downtown Somerville's Halloween spirit with decorations and costumed characters distributing treats to all participants. Trick or Treaters were also able to participate in other family-oriented activities throughout the event.
The event was sponsored by the local business owners, Somerville District Management Corporation and the Somerville Business and Professional Association.
