PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Justin Larson and Ryan Spooner scored third-period goals to
lift the Peterborough Petes to a 4-2 win over the Erie Otters in an Ontario Hockey
League game played tonight in front of 2,561 at the Memorial Centre.Yves Bastien and Adam Sedlak scored the other goals for the Petes, who ended a three-game home losing streak with the win. Peterborough is now 3-6 on the season.
Nick Palmieri and Brandon Biggers replied for the Otters. Erie dropped to 2-4-1-0 on the season.
The two teams were tied at one after one and at two after two.
Erie out shot the Petes 38-30 in the game as Shane Owen took the loss in his first start of the season.
The three stars of the game were all from the Petes. Larson was the first; Joey West (two assists) the second and goaltender Jason Missiaen (36 saves) the third.
The Otters continue a three-game road trip tomorrow (Friday) night when they travel to Oshawa to meet the Generals.
