The Moncton Wildcats take their second road trip of the season to face the Lewiston MAINEiacs Friday night. They challenge the Halifax Mooseheads Sunday in Halifax. The Wildcats are yet to face the either team this season. Ted Stephens, Scott Brannon and Sasha Famin lead the Wildcats in scoring with 8, 8 and 6 points respectively so far this year.

Wildcats 3 Rocket 2
The Moncton Wildcats picked up a win on the road Saturday night against the PEI Rocket.
Pierre-Marc Lessard opened the scoring at 6:14 on an assist from Brannon. PEI waited until 19:18 for Simon OPlsson to respond with a goal.
In the second period, Lessard and MacAusland assisted David Savard for Moncton's second goal of the game at 17:16.
Jean-Philippe Mathieu scored at 17:03 to force an overtime. The overtime went scoreless and the Wildcats and Rocket went for the shoot-out.
Ted Stephens and Matthew Bissonnette each scored for Moncton during the shoot-out and Nicola Riopel made two saves.
Moncton outshot PEI 35-29. The three stars of the game were Simon Olsson, Matt Eagles and Bobby Nadeau.
Sunday September 21st vs Val-d'Or Moncton Coliseum 4:00PM
GAME NOTES
Cats win fourth straight
Three goals in each of the first and third period plus a single marker in the middle frame gave the hometown Moncton Wildcats a 7-2 victory over the Val d'Or Foreurs on Sunday afternoon at the Coliseum.
The game was only 1:23 old when Sasha Famin scored from Ted Stephens and Matt Eagles. Famin got his third of the season, second of the game, at 15:57 with Mark Barberio and Matthew Bissonnette scoring on the power play. Eagles got his first of the year at 17:54, Stephens and Famin set up the goal.
35 seconds into the second frame and the Wildcats had a 4-0 lead on Scott Brannon's fifth of the season, Pierre-Marc Lessard and Devon MacAusland set up the play. Val d'Or scored its first goal at 5:59 of the period when Cedrick Henley beat Nicola Riopel, Alexandre Monahan and Maxime Levesque got the assists.
The Foreurs made it interesting with Christian Morin's goal at 6:03 of the third, Gabriel Beaupre and Henley drew the assists. Then the Wildcats took over scoring three power play goals in a row. Ted Stephens with his fifth of the young season from Eagles and Barberio at 10:05, then David Savard from Scott Brannon and Jodoin at 10:56 and finally Eagles with his second of the game from Lessard and Barberio at 14:57.
Moncton outshot the visitors 36-24. On the power play, the Wildcats went 4 for 16 while Val d'Or was 0 for 8.
The three starts were Eagles, Stephens and Famin.
