
Jeff Prough signs with Gwinnett Gladiators

Former Stampede forward Jeff Prough (Pro) has signed with the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL. The Gladiators are the "AA" affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers.
Prough began his professional career last season with the Florida Everblades appearing in 9 games and posting an assist and 6 penalty minutes. Prough joined the Everblades after completing his senior season as an assistant captain at Brown University where he posted 26 points (7g, 19a) in 31 games last year.
The Farmingham Hills, Michigan native recorded 25 points (8g, 17a) in 53 games with the Stampede during the 2003-04 season. He had a career season posting 33 points during his junior campaign to lead Brown in scoring in 2006-07 as he posted 16 goals and 17 assists. He finished his collegiate career appearing in 127 games with Brown University while notching 49 goals and 60 assists for 109 career points.
In 2002, Prough helped lead his high school team to a Michigan State High School Championship while playing at Detroit Catholic Central. He won a Gold Medal in Five-Nations Under-17 Tournament for Team USA in the Czech Republic and he earned a second Gold Medal in 2003 for the USA Under-18 team in Slovakia.
