Cincinnati Cyclones News Release
The Cincinnati Cyclones will play host to the seventh game of the North Division Finals on Monday night (May 5) at U.S. Bank Arena at 7:30pm. The Reading Royals provide the opposition in this one game winner-take-all showdown to determine one half of the American Conference Finals.
This will be Cincinnati's league-record third trip to a seventh game--in the 13th series to reach seven games. The home team has won nine of the previous 12 seventh games (75 percent).
The Cyclones forced the seventh game with a 4-2 win at Reading on Saturday night. Mathieu Aubin scored a pair of goals to lead the charge and Cedrick Desjardins stopped 27 shots in collecting his third win of the Kelly Cup playoffs.
The Cyclones game notes for Monday night are attached. The Cyclones will skate at U.S. Bank Arema on Monday at 10am. Interviews can be conducted with Head Coach Chuck Weber at approximately 11:15am. Please notify John Hamel (513-421-7825, x. 139) if you wish to take advantage of this opportunity.
