FWFK Foundation, McDonald's Team Again To Benefit Charity

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Fire have announced that the FireWorks For Kids Foundation (FWFK) will team up with McDonald's again this season to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana through the Golden Goals Program. McDonald's will donate $100 for each regular season goal scored by the Fire at TOYOTA PARK to the FWFK Foundation. The FWFK Foundation will match the amount donated by McDonald's and donate the total amount to Ronald McDonald House Charities®.

Last season, the Golden Goals Program raised a total of $3,200 for Ronald McDonald House Charities®. The Fire scored 16 goals during the regular season at TOYOTA PARK, resulting in McDonald's donating $1,600 and the FWFK Foundation matching that amount. During halftime of one of last season's playoff matches, the FWFK Foundation presented a check for $3,200 to Ronald McDonald House Charities®.

"This partnership will again provide support to RMHC as they continue to build new homes and do great things for our community."
